Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet - Assistant Stage Manager

Marcus is sixteen and "sweet." Days before Hurricane Katrina strikes the housing projects of Louisiana, the currents of his life converge, overflowing into his close-knit community and launching the search for his sexual and personal identity on a cultural landscape infused with mysterious family creeds. This was the second of The Brother/Sister Plays Trilogy put on by the department in a dance-theatre rendition.

30 Floods - Stage Manager

Telling the story of an unnamed Usonian town devastated by floods, rebuilt by its inhabitants, and exploited by its offspring, 30 Floods is an exploration of devastation, legacy, and creation that asks what it means to be flooded, rebuild and turn 30. This play was a part of the annual UT New Theatre Showcase, featuring new works from 3rd Year MFA Playwrites.

Wellesley Girl - Stage Manager

This was a smaller production, as it was in a black box. There was live music during the performances and a minimal set with multi-purpose pieces. This show had some unique elements with live musicians, child actors, and having to call all cues non-verbally due to the small space.

Enron - Assistant Stage Manager

Part of the director's vision for this version of Enron was to comment on how toxic masculinity and gender roles play a strong role in the workplace, and how they tie into corruption and greed. Therefore, the entire cast of Enron was comprised of female, and trans, or non-binary actors. Everything about this show was BIG. There were over 6 TVs used for media and projections, 3 large raptor costumes, multiple costume changes, more than 50 props, and a large cast and crew. My main role as an assistant stage manager was to handle all scenic transitions during the show, as well as looking after all of the props.
